We ended up on the obstetric ward. After showing signs of preeclampsia, with very strange hallucinations, the out of hours GP sent me up to the maternity hospital to be checked out.Bloods taken, urine tested the works. I was very nervous, 22 weeks pregnant i did not want preeclampsia, I don’t want it at all during the pregnancy but especially not yet, It’s far too early to have to give birth. The lady took my blood pressure which was 137/something to start off with then by the 4th reading it had lowered to 120/something. PositiveShe then listened into Lucas’ heartbeat, making him very irritable hitting me and the doppler off my stomach. PositiveUrine came back clear, Bloods came back clear! PositiveHe is measuring 21weeks which is not bad for just turning 22 weeks! PositiveOverall a positive experience! No signs of preeclampsia, not to sure why I am hallucinating spiders and why i have a vibration in my back but i’m happy with the results. :) No concerns. Been sent home and told to keep an eye on everything (pun intended) and if it gets worse go back. Hopefully i continue to have a positive pregnancy from now on!
Bun still in the oven, cooking nicely!
